With an illustrious career spanning nearly two decades, David Forbes stands as one of the UK’s most respected and versatile electronic music artists. With a production discography that spans multiple styles, his experience and influence reach back to the formative years of the genre.

A highly in-demand producer, David has released music on many of the scene’s most esteemed labels, including WAO138, Subculture, Armind, Outburst Records, Anjunabeats, Vandit, Spinnin’, Perfecto, Doorn, Ferry Corsten’s Flashover Recordings, and more.

His work has featured on landmark compilations curated by Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sander van Doorn, Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery and Tiësto — who featured David’s track “Answers” on the legendary Tiësto In Concert DVD, making him the only UK artist included.

Alongside his solo output, David has collaborated with leading figures including Mark Sherry and Alan Nimmo (Signalrunners), and was a pivotal member of the platinum, multi-million-selling acts Public Domain and Scanners.

As a live performer, David has played extensively across the globe, with appearances in Ibiza, Brazil, Hong Kong, Australia and throughout Europe, as well as major festivals including Sunrise Festival, Dreamstate and Germany’s Nature One Festival. He has completed 13 interstate tours of Australia, headlining Utopia in front of 20,000 people at the Sydney Super Dome.

Beyond the studio and stage, David runs his own labels Aria Digital and Midimal, both of which continue to thrive, with Aria Digital surpassing its 100th release.
