Andrew Cushin Wraps Up Huge Summer Tour Supporting OMD

Notting Hill Music signing Andrew Cushin has completed an incredible run of summer shows supporting legendary synth-pop pioneers Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.

The tour saw the Newcastle singer-songwriter performing to huge audiences at a series of impressive outdoor venues across the UK, sharing the stage with a band whose catalogue includes enduring classics such as “Enola Gay”, “Electricity”, “Souvenir” and “Maid of Orleans”.

Andrew joined OMD for shows including Lincoln Castle, York Museum Gardens and Dreamland Margate, appearing on bills alongside celebrated artists such as Peter Hook & The Light, Heaven 17 and China Crisis.

The run concluded in spectacular fashion with two nights at Glasgow’s beautiful Kelvingrove Bandstand, bringing another memorable chapter in Andrew’s busy live career to a close.

Sharing a collection of highlights from the tour, Andrew thanked OMD and the audiences who came out to support him throughout the summer. The shows offered another opportunity for his honest, emotionally direct songwriting and anthemic live sound to reach thousands of new listeners across the country.

The tour follows the release of Andrew’s second album, Love Is For Everyone, which arrived through LAB Records in May 2025 and entered the Official UK Albums Chart Top 40. The record marked another major step forward for the acclaimed songwriter, building upon the deeply personal storytelling that first earned him support from figures including Noel Gallagher, Pete Doherty, Louis Tomlinson and Johnny Marr.

Andrew also recently returned with his first new music of 2026, releasing the powerful new single “Goodbye” in May.

There is plenty more to come, with Andrew set to embark upon his biggest UK headline tour to date this November and December. The run will visit cities across the country before culminating in a major hometown show at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall, followed by Scottish dates at Glasgow’s Saint Luke’s and Edinburgh’s La Belle Angele.
