The Molotovs Tear Up the Stage at Belladrum 2026

Notting Hill Music signing The Molotovs delivered a blistering performance at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival last weekend, bringing their infectious punk energy to the festival’s Garden Stage in the Scottish Highlands.

The band’s performance of “Get A Life” was captured as part of BBC ALBA’s coverage of the festival and is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

The appearance marks another highlight in a landmark year for the London sibling duo. Their debut album, Wasted On Youth, was released through Marshall Records in January and entered the UK Albums Chart at an incredible Number 3.

Produced by The Molotovs alongside Jason Perry, the record channels punk, new wave, indie and garage rock into a collection of songs confronting the pressures and frustrations facing young people today. Tracks including “More More More”, “Today’s Gonna Be Our Day”, “Rhythm Of Yourself” and “Get A Life” have helped establish the band as one of the most exciting young guitar acts in the country.

Following Belladrum, The Molotovs will continue a packed summer schedule with appearances across the UK and Europe. Upcoming dates include shows in Italy and Switzerland, Rock N Roll Circus in Norwich alongside James and Razorlight, a Sheffield appearance with Wunderhorse, and Italy’s AMA Music Festival with Franz Ferdinand and The Kooks.

In September, the band will embark on their biggest headline run to date, the Welcome To Urbia tour. The UK and Ireland dates include Cardiff, Nottingham, Brighton, Glasgow, Newcastle, Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Belfast and two hometown nights at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town.

The Molotovs have also revealed that work is underway on the follow-up to Wasted On Youth. The developing second album is set to explore modern urban life and the sense of disconnection experienced by young people, while retaining the optimism and defiance at the heart of the band’s music.

With a Top 3 debut album behind them, an extensive headline tour approaching and new material already taking shape, The Molotovs show no signs of slowing down.
