Hailing from Sweden and joining 23rd precinct music in August of 2023, Angelica Bjornsson has worked extensively over the last ten years as a songwriter and producer, initially being at the helm of an electro pop solo project which took her across Europe and Australia. She swiftly moved into audio engineering to master the craft and further her production skills.

Teaming up with the band Texas firstly as a songwriter, she is now a long-lasting collaborator, involved in past and future projects. The album ‘Jump on Board’ went to number 1 in France, with the single ‘Let’s Work It Out’ making it onto their recent greatest hits album. The follow up album ‘Hi’ made it to number 2 in the UK album charts, with the lead single co-produced by Angelica featuring Wu Tang Clan. In addition to co-production on the 2 new songs on the recent greatest hits, she cowrote the single ‘After All’ and the northern soul classic cover ‘Keep on Talking’ hit the A list on BBC radio 2, a collaboration with Spooner Oldham recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios.

After finishing her studies, she went on to work as an engineer at Premises Studios in London, as well as working at Lime Green Monkeys Studios, run by the prolific British music producer Jim Abbiss.

Angelica has credits on a wide range of acts across multiple genres, from Texas to The Lathums, Billy Marten and Black Country New Road. She has mixed the upcoming records by Texas and Meatraffle.

With a deep knowledge and appreciation of multiple musical genres, and a real pop sensibility at heart, she can jump between projects, marrying the best parts with her natural song writing ability in the pursuit of a great song.
