Megan Kashat is an Iraqi American recording artist, songwriter, dancer, and abstract painter with over 17 million streams and more than 300 chart placements worldwide. After making her mark in the global dance scene, Megan returns to her roots with “WICKED'“ a rock-driven single that opens a new creative chapter ahead of her upcoming album State of Mind. While exploring fresh sonic territory, she continues to shape the dance world through collaborations with DJ Regard, Edward Maya, DJ Paige, Nihil Young, Cornelius SA, JNR SA, DBasser, and Eli Fola—her track with Fola, “Carry You” debuted at EDC Las Vegas. Her rework of Wim Mertens’ classic “Struggle for Pleasure” with Luca Testa drew over 30,000 streams on its first day. This November, Megan joins forces with Cornelius SA again for a release on Soul Candi Records, further solidifying her Afro-house influence. As an exclusive songwriter with 23rd Precinct and Notting Hill Music, her work has been featured by BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM, Tiësto’s Club Life, Artbat’s podcast, and Nora En Pure, with radio chart success spanning seven consecutive weeks on the Mediabase Activator Charts. A multidisciplinary artist and former professional dancer, Megan has shared the stage with Mariah Carey, Charlie Wilson, The Goo Goo Dolls, Big Sean, T.I., and Steve Harvey, appearing on The Grammy Awards, Lopez Tonight, and The Wendy Williams Show. She placed 2nd at the Prix De España World Cup and has performed at Coachella, SXSW, Essence Festival, House of Blues, and Fox Theatre. A graduate of Broadway Dance Center, LA Film School, Detroit Institute of Music Education and NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, Megan blends sound, movement, and visual art into immersive performances—often painting live on stage.
