Andrew Cushin Awarded BPI MEGS Grant as He Prepares for SXSW 2026
We’re incredibly proud to share that Andrew Cushin has been awarded funding from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) through its Music Export Growth Scheme (MEGS) board - a major step forward as he continues to build his career on the global stage.
The Music Export Growth Scheme is designed to support independent UK artists in expanding their international reach, providing vital backing for touring, promotion and audience development worldwide. The grant will help fuel Andrew’s growing global momentum, opening up new opportunities to connect with fans beyond the UK.
The news comes at an exciting time. Next week, Andrew heads to Austin to perform at South by Southwest (SXSW) — one of the world’s most influential music festivals and showcase events. SXSW has long been a launchpad for emerging artists breaking into the international market, and Andrew’s appearance marks another significant milestone in his journey.
