As It Is sign global publishing deal with Notting Hill Music
Transatlantic pop-rock outfit As It Is have entered into a worldwide publishing agreement with Notting Hill Music.
Under the new partnership, Notting Hill Music will oversee the band’s existing catalogue — spanning multiple albums and compilations — while also backing their upcoming fifth studio record and future projects. The deal will include opportunities for sync placements and global growth.
This announcement comes shortly after the group’s signing to Frontiers Label Group’s alternative and modern rock imprint, FLG, and the release of Lose Your Way & Find Yourself — the first track from As It Is’ original line-up since 2018.
The publishing deal was officially sealed during the band’s headline appearance at London’s Electric Ballroom, the closing show of their UK anniversary tour. The run celebrated ten years of their debut album Never Happy, Ever After, performed in full, alongside their latest single and a second set drawn from the rest of their discography.
Reflecting on the milestone, frontman and co-founder Patty Walters shared:
“Thirteen years on from starting this band, our passion and drive to create music together has never been stronger. This feels like the beginning of an inspiring new era for us. Many of our team members have been with us for more than a decade, and we’re thrilled to welcome Notting Hill Music into that family. Our deepest gratitude goes to John, Roy, Dave, and everyone at Notting Hill for their faith in where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going.”
