Twin Atlantic Announce New Album Separation From The Animals And Share New Single In Your Eyes

Notting Hill Music signing Twin Atlantic have unveiled details of their brand new album Separation From The Animals, set for release on 2 October, alongside the release of new single In Your Eyes and a UK headline tour for this October.

The announcement arrived in memorable fashion following the band's surprise appearance at TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow on Saturday. Performing under the alias "Triplet Pacific" on one of the festival's smaller stages, Twin Atlantic treated fans to an intimate set before revealing news of the forthcoming album.

Separation From The Animals marks the Scottish band's eighth studio album and follows 2024's Meltdown. Described as their most honest and emotionally exposed record to date, the album explores themes of identity, growth and self-reflection, inspired in part by frontman Sam McTrusty's recent move to Toronto and a period of personal introspection.

Alongside the album announcement, Twin Atlantic have shared new single In Your Eyes. The track follows previous release Don't Quit It and offers another glimpse into the record's emotional core. Speaking about the song, McTrusty explained that it explores the experience of trying to please someone who can never be satisfied, before ultimately recognising the value and positivity that exists beyond that relationship.

To celebrate the release, Twin Atlantic will head out on a UK headline tour this October, performing in:

  • Leeds – Stylus (16 October)

  • Birmingham – O2 Institute 2 (17 October)

  • Newcastle – Boiler Shop (18 October)

  • London – Islington Assembly Hall (20 October)

  • Manchester – Gorilla (21 October)

  • Glasgow – SWG3 (23 October)

With a surprise festival appearance, a brand new single and a major album announcement all landing within the same weekend, Twin Atlantic have kicked off their next chapter in style.

Congratulations to Twin Atlantic and everyone involved on the release of In Your Eyes and the announcement of Separation From The Animals.
