Declan Welsh Heads to New York for Anti Social Camp
Declan Welsh is heading to New York this week to take part in Anti Social Camp, one of the world's most respected songwriting events and widely recognised as the largest songwriting camp in the industry.
Held annually across studios and venues throughout New York City, Anti Social Camp brings together hundreds of artists, songwriters and producers for a week of intensive collaboration, creativity and networking. Since its launch, the event has grown into a major fixture on the international music calendar, hosting hundreds of recording sessions and attracting participants from across the global music community.
Often described as the "SXSW for songwriters", Anti Social Camp combines traditional songwriting camp sessions with showcases, panels and industry events, creating opportunities for creators to collaborate, learn and build new professional relationships. Previous participants, speakers and collaborators have included acclaimed artists and songwriters such as Nile Rodgers, Moby, Jacob Collier, PinkPantheress, Cigarettes After Sex and Linda Perry, while industry partners have included Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and The Recording Academy.
As one of Scotland's most distinctive songwriting voices, Declan's invitation to participate is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow creators from around the world and develop new music in one of the most vibrant creative environments in the industry.
Everyone at Notting Hill Music wishes Declan a successful and inspiring week in New York. We look forward to hearing what comes out of the sessions and following his journey at Anti Social Camp.
